Handicap Master

2/11th Hole, The Nest

From the tee the fairway immediately rises gently away and disappears over a hill where it dips down at about 170 yards only to rise steeply to a bank topped with medium rough grass.

To both sides of the fairway there are newly planted trees standing in deep rough grass bordered by short cut rough and because of the right to left slope of the fairway it is essential to get a good drive right of centre of the fairway.

From the bank the second shot goes over the burn running right to left across the fairway which rises to the elevated roadway over which is the green, from which the hole gets its name, as it sits in a bowl like a nest before you.
